a colophon

How this place is set.

Every choice here is in service of the reading — the letters you read by, the colours behind them, and the quiet tools that hold it together.

The quiet hours hold the longest stories.

A transitional serif redrawn for the screen — open counters, sturdy at small sizes. It carries every essay, poem, and chapter.

the workshop

Marahuyo is built with Next.js and React, typeset with Tailwind, and kept honest by TypeScript. The words live in Postgres by way of Supabase; everything is written in a small in-house studio and rendered as static pages wherever it can be.

There are no trackers, no pop-ups, no newsletter wall — only a theme switcher, a way to mark your place, and the text. The reading comes first; the rest stays out of the way.
